阿吉里斯的生平
    1923 年，7月16日出生于美国新泽西州的纽瓦克。
    1947 年，在克拉克大学获得心理学学士学位。
    1949 年，在堪萨斯大学获得心理和经济学硕士学位。
    1951 年，在康奈尔大学工业和劳动关系学院获得组织行为学博士学位。
    1951－1971年，任教于耶鲁大学行政科学系。
    1971－1986年，任教于哈佛大学教育学院。
    1986年，任教于哈佛大学商学院。
    1977年，获加拿大麦吉尔大学荣誉博士学位。
    1978年，获比利时鲁汶大学荣誉博士学位。
    1979年，获瑞典斯德哥尔摩经济学院荣誉博士学位。
    1994年，获美国管理科学院“管理学科终身成就者”称号。
